IN THIS LESSON
By learning about NATO, students will develop research skills they can apply to any topic.
Students will trace a claim to the source best matched to it and distinguish documentable facts, attributed claims, interpretations or narratives, and open questions. Analyze framing through language, emphasis, and omission without using “bias” as a substitute for evidence. They will also rewrite the claim so that its certainty, scope, actor, and date match the available evidence.
