Founders

Max Tegmark and Meia-Chita Tegmark are professors at MIT and Leslie University. They founded the Improve the News Foundation (ITN), an apolitical American 501(c)(3) nonprofit, in 2020 to empower people to rise above controversies and understand the world in a nuanced way.

ITN has since grown into a worldwide network of professional collaborators managing the Verity.news platform, Orwell.org and VerityEd.
